Lesbian rockers coming to Auckland

Tue 16 Aug 2005 In: New Zealand Daily News

Canadian identical lesbian twins Tegan and Sara are coming to New Zealand to play a one-off concert on 24 August, at Shadows bar, Auckland. Known for their onstage banter, their music is a louder brand of folk-rock, sometimes controversial and always interesting. Tickets are free for B-card holders, as the concert is sponsored by Auckland University's BFM radio station. B-cards can be purchased throughout the city, and tickets are available from Real Groovy or the BFM office on campus.
