Grant Robertson Rainbow Labour MP Grant Robertson is tipped to be moved further up his party ranks when leader Phil Goff announced a reshuffle ahead of this year's general election. Political pundits believe the Central Wellington MP is in line for another promotion, in an announcement which is believed to be due this week. Robertson, who is regarded by some as a future leader of the party, was given the Tertiary Education and moved into the second row in a reshuffle in June. Promotions were also given to his Rainbow Labour colleagues Charles Chauvel and Maryan Street in that rejig. Auckland Central candidate Jacinda Adern, who is a strong GLBT rights advocate, is another who could be bumped up the ranks. Party leader Phil Goff's not giving anything away, telling Newstalk ZB: "You'll see when I make that announcement and I've made those decisions." "One of the challenges is I've got a hell of a lot of talent on the backbench and not everybody can come forward."
