Rumours fly over "gay Super Bowl ads"

Internet speculation two gay-themed Doritos ads were going to appear during the Super Bowl has been quashed. The ads, which were created in a competition run by Doritos and Pepsi Max, have been flying around the web alongside claims they will be run during one of the most-watched telecasts in America. Frito-Lay director of public relations Chris Kuechenmeister has told the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation the ads were simply two out of 5,600 that were submitted to the company and are not even finalists . The Advocate says the ads have sparked mixed reaction from gay viewers. One ad features two men steaming in the sauna as one man seductively eyes the other's crotch. In a second ad a man gazes across the fence at his two gay neighbours, who are sunning themselves and eating Doritos by the pool.
