A Brazilian transsexual prostitute has been found burnt to death, just weeks after her alleged encounter with senior Italian politician Piero Marrazzo came to light and the scandal gripped the nation. Scandal: Ex-MP Piero Marrazzo Police found the body of the transsexual, known only as 'Brenda', who had been burnt to death in a basement flat in Rome's red light district. The case is being treated as a murder. Marrazzo quit parliament last month as newspapers splashed headlines about his affair. The MP had been blackmailed for undisclosed amounts of money to prevent video footage of the encounter being released. He later admitted that he paid prostitutes and took cocaine.
