The NZ AIDS Foundation Board has confirmed venues, dates and times for a series of feedback meetings about proposed changes to the organisation's governance arrangements. The Board's proposal is to increase the number of trust board members from seven to eight and, "while retaining the skills-based criteria for appointment of board members," seek to hold four places (50% of the board membership) for Maori and two (2) for people living with HIV. A series of four regional meetings will be held from 11 - 14 July, followed by a Special General Meeting of the Foundation, in Auckland on 19 August. The Board has invited from stakeholders - including staff, members, volunteers and other community organisations and individuals - to the meetings.
