Hollywood's 'white knots' for gay marriage

Musicians including Michael Bublé, Dave Grohl, Adele and Dave Stewart will be wearing white knots at this year's Grammy awards, in a new campaign for same-sex marriage. Equality action: Singer Michael Buble The makers of the Milk movie will also be visibly supporting the movement at the Oscars. Since California's Proposition 8 - which outlaws same-sex marriage - passed in November, LGBT groups across the state and elsewhere in America have rallied and protested, saying the ban is unfair and unconstitutional. "Whether you are gay or straight, please show your support by wearing the Knot and telling people why you are wearing it," say campaigners. "Wear your White Knot to work, to school, to your place of worship. Together, we will keep the topic at the top of people's minds and keep the conversation going."
