Wellington drag troupe The Glamazons are excited about bracing the stage in Hamilton again, with a cabaret dinner performance scheduled for this month. Popular in the Waikato: The Glamazons The one-night-only show, taking place at Glamz! cabaret restaurant on Saturday 20 December, promises to be a "camp affair, with all your favourite shows from The Glamazons, plus a few new ones", complete with a three-course meal. "We're really excited about getting onstage at Glamz! again," says Natasha from the group. "The last show went really well and we've been working desperately with the owners to try and get back again!" The Glamazons say that Hamilton is where they are most popular, and that they have performed there more than anywhere else. "It's a bit like pop stars who are more popular in Japan," La Toya says. "Hamilton is our Japan!" Bookings are essential and can be made by visiting http://www.glamz.co.nz/, or by phoning Glamz! on (07) 834 3433.
