Auckland drag sisters Tess Tickle, Dallas Vixen and Mimi Boyz are crossing K' Road to brighten up the Naval and Family pub on Friday nights – That's Kamp! "I'm taking a big risk, appearing with two girls who are younger and prettier than me," Tess laughs modestly. "But we've been working on our choreography and frocks all week and we're looking forward to bringing folks something new that they don't get over the road at Family – a real pub-style cabaret show." With showtimes at 10:30pm and Midnight each Friday night and DJ James Leuii on hand to provide the music, Tess hopes That's Kamp will "up the ante" each week with comedy, new shows and use of the video screens and props already in the pub. "We want to really take risks with drag and give the punters more – and we're looking forward to seeing you all there." That's Kamp begins tomorrow night and happens each Friday night of December and possibly beyond.
