A gay man in Denver, Colorado paid almost US$200 (NZ$377) to experience Madonna's new concert in his home city – but was ejected and arrested at the event after a homophobic incident. Arrested at concert: Jerome Schroeder Jerome Schroeder says that he and his boyfriend were subjected to ongoing homophobic slurs by a couple sitting in front of them but that they ignored the insults, reports the Rocky Mountain News. Then about an hour into the concert, police came and escorted him and his friend from their seats – and arrested Schroeder when he refused to leave. "The only explanation is that it was based on our sexuality," he told the newspaper. "There is no other explanation that makes sense."
