A scene from a new episode of The Simpsons suggests that ultra-macho character Duffman is gay. Duffman: Likes a drink... and men? The episode, transmitted this week in the States, shows the return of two gay men Homer once flatted with during a brief break from Marge. One of them says he's dating someone new – as Duffman is shown stepping from the shower and flicking his towel at him. Muscled, smooth-talking and pelvic-thrusting Duffman is the mascot of Homer Simpson's favourite beer brand, Duff, and has become a regular returning character.
