A spokesperson for Prime TV says Californian lesbian drama ‘The L Word' will return to NZ screens with new episodes later this year, but so far no date has been set. Prime TV publicist Lisa Franklin confirmed that the channel plans to continue broadcasting the popular drama. Seasons one and two have played in a prime-time slot, and now season three will air in coming months. In the States, season four has been broadcast to critical acclaim, and Cybill Shephard in a starring role as a married mother who embarks on a steamy lesbian affair.
