The New Zealand AIDS Foundation has now revealed an action-packed entertainment line-up for this Sunday's Big Gay Out fair day. Entertainment on the main stage runs from 12.45pm until 7pm. MC's are Steven Oates and Sarah Lambourne first until 3pm, ‘Glamourous Makeover Girls' Buffy and Bimbo next until 5pm, and drag diva Buckwheat for the last two hours. Family bar owner Wayne Clark says he's “gone all out” on the Big Gay Out this year, on a “mega twelve marquee extravaganza”. It's to be a mini wine and food festival, all under a huge ‘Family' banner, surrounded by white picket fences. The day will also feature live broadcasts from the George FM dance tent, stalls from a wide range of LGBT groups, a ‘Safe Sex Beauties' tent, many food and drink stands, and a Gay Auckland Business Association VIP area. Big Gay Out attendees are advised to bring a sunhat, plenty of sunscreen and plenty of water. Auckland City bylaws state that all dogs must be kept on a lead. The New Zealand AIDS Foundation presents the ‘Big Gay Out' Sunday 11 February in Coyle Park, Point Chevalier.
