Gay rapper blasts

Sat 27 Jan 2007 In: International News

Gay rapper ‘Deadlee' has criticized hip-hop stars Eminem, 50 Cent and DMX for their alleged homophobia. Los Angeles-based Deadlee has used the announcement of The HomoRevolution Tour 2007 - billed as the first ever organised tour of gay, lesbian and bisexual rap and hip-hop artists - to share his true feelings on some of the biggest names in rap. Deadlee, real name Joseph Lee L, objects to frequent references to "faggots" and "homo thugs" in DMX's music. He tells, "I find it crazy when his videos are very homoerotic. All the guys kicking it with their shirts off!" And he slams 50 Cent for telling Playboy in April 2004, "I don't like gay people around me, because I'm not comfortable with what their thoughts are." Deadlee fumes, "F**k him. I don't like ignorant b**ches around me, so he can suck my gun." And he also blasts Eminem, saying, "Eminem was called out for his juvenile, hateful approach to homosexuality, especially in his (2000) song Criminal. He was the biggest rapper at the time and if he used the same song as a diss to blacks or Latinos, he would probably be dead." Find Deadlee's MySpace page on the link below.     Ref: andPOP (m)
