"Given that 50 percent of violent assault cases last year were domestic assaults, surely working with heterosexual couples and sending out an anti-violence message would be more beneficial than peering through the curtains of other people?" she asks. "The family...is often dysfunctional, toxic and the worst place a child can be. If Tamaki spent more time working with families at risk, and less time working himself into a lather over what gay people may or may not be doing, New Zealand would be a better place."
