Taiwanese religious groups have taken great offense at a MacDonalds TV ad where a young guy comes out to his dad... which means it must be kinda cool huh? BTW, homosexuality is not illegal in Taiwan but there is no legal acknowledgement of same-sex relationships such as civil unions or marriage and no legal protections or rights for same-sex couples.
