Gay lawyer appointed advisor to Dalziel

Auckland gay barrister Michael Wilson is to become a ministerial adviser to Cabinet Minister Lianne Dalziel. Wilson will be based in the Beehive from December 9 and describes the position as “essentially advisor on all Lianne`s policy areas, Commerce, Justice, Immigration, Senior Citizens and Special Education, on policy and politics.” He says he is “ really excited” by the appointment “and I can`t wait to get started."
