Netflix, which is known for its stash of lgbti movies and TV shows, will be launched in New Zealand in March. It’s not clear whether the New Zealanders will have access to the full lgbti catalogue in the Australia and New Zealand catalogue that will be offered. While it offers a wide range of movies and TV shows, Netflix is also known for its original programming; most notably Orange is the New Black which features lesbian, bisexual and transgender characters. Real life friends Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda will be onscreen enemies in Grace and Frankie Among the confirmed TV shows in the New Zealand line-up is Netflix original Grace and Frankie, which stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as two foes whose lives are altered dramatically when their husbands fall in love with each other. Netflix will be available at launch on smart TVs, tablets and smartphones, computers and a range of internet-capable game consoles and set-top boxes.
