Auckland Council is in need of photos from various rainbow communities in Auckland, to assist with the illustration of a strategic framework the result of several "not your usual" hui held throughout Auckland last year. The framework consists of three platforms that provide strategic vision and indicators for making Auckland ‘the most liveable city’ for Auckland’s Rainbow Communities. These include: A strong voice for our communities We are able to be who we are, feel safe, welcome and included People across all sectors and interests work together to understand, voice and act on issues and needs for Rainbow communities Have you got any photos that you think captures your idea about any of the three platforms? Or do you need to take out a camera and get clicking? We are interested in including your photos that represent these platforms and the various Rainbow communities and associated events within Auckland. A full copy of the framework is available from cissy.rock@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz If you would like to send us your photos – please send them to cissy.rock@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz by the 1 September 2014 Photo Specifications Format: Jpg Size: 1-2 MB Include with Photo Signed Permission: I give Auckland Council authorisation in the use of the picture/s provided for use in council publications. (Please seek permission from all those pictured in photos) Once the completed framework is published it will be available to everyone at their local Auckland; - Citizens Advice Bureau - Library - Rainbow Community Organisation It is hoped that this document will assist community members to feel supported in working with the council to implement these key platforms.   Auckland Council - 4th August 2014
