A number of Queenstown businesses have gayed up their window displays for Gay Ski Week As Gay Ski Week in Queenstown starts to count down to the final party tomorrow night, co-organiser Sally Whitewoods is thrilled at how popular the events have been. "It's been brilliant, huge!" she says. "We had 140 people at the Bingay night she says, "the place was bulging at the seams!" Whitewoods says that after a quiet start last year the Casino Royale night high above Queenstown at the Skyline restaurant really took off on Wednesday night. "The smaller crowd last year loved it and I think word got around, so this time we had about 130 up there." "Our events are about having fun and a fun time together," Whitewoods says. She's especially looking forward to tonight's Queens on the Lake, a night-time dance party aboard the TSS Earnslaw, for which she says there are only a few tickets left.
