The nation’s favourite lesbian twins have perhaps made it a little easier to figure out what to get the rug rats in your life for Christmas, in releasing their second children’s book. They have teamed up with illustrator Jenny Cooper to create their take on the popular action song Do Your Ears Hang Low? The book and CD set follows the publication last year of There’s a Hole in My Bucket and even includes two pages of little-known facts about ears. The twins say they had so much fun doing the first book they couldn't wait to do another. "If we're having fun and the kids are having fun and it helps them to learn to read, then it's all good," says Jools Topp. "It's another classic that everyone knows the words to, but this time we hope people will do a little jig too.” The launch of Do Your Ears Hang Low? at the Nelson Arts Festival on October 28 has already sold out.
