Police confirm head belongs to gay killing victim

Fri 6 Jul 2012 In: International News

Jun Lin Montreal police have confirmed that a head found in a city park belongs to a slain gay Chinese student allegedly killed by another gay man. The head of Jun Lin was the last body part missing after Luka Magnotta, who describes himself as a one-time gay porn actor, allegedly killed the student - his lover - and mailed some body parts to Canadian political parties. The park where the head was found is just a few kilometres from Magnotta's apartment. Lin's family have been advised of this latest development in the case. Magnotta faces a first-degree murder charge, and is also charged with defiling Lin's corpse. He is additionally charged with harassing the Canadian Prime Minister and MPs, and with publishing and mailing obscene material. The latter charges relate to Magnotta making a video of himself killing Lin and committing a sexual act with the corpse, which he subsequently uploaded onto an internet video website.
