OUTLineNZ appoints new General Manager

Timothy McMichael (picture: Duncan Brown Hawkes Bay Today) UK-born health professional Timothy McMichael has been appointed the new General Manager of Auckland-based lgbt support network and phone helpline OUTLineNZ. He is currently based in Hawke’s Bay, working in health management, sexual health, clinically-based service delivery and in governance and strategy for the local DHB and the Ministry of Justice”. He has accepted the position after a selection process last week, which comes after Vaughan Meneses resigned to take up a new opportunity in Wellington. Board chairman Peter Martin has thanked those that applied and congratulated McMichael, saying he will be a valuable asset to the organisation and that he looked forward to working with him. McMichael will take up the post late May, allowing time for his civil union partner and their cats to acclimatise from Havelock North to Auckland.
