Mon 12 Dec 2011 In: New Zealand Daily News

The queens' arrival at Bay Pride The first ever Bay Pride Festival is being declared a huge success and organisers are already looking forward to next year when it will all happen again. Attendees tell GayNZ.com the celebration of diversity at Rotorua's All Seasons Holiday Park on Saturday was an utterly fabulous day, which they liken to a smaller version of Auckland's Big Gay Out. It included shows, music and stalls, and plenty of outrageous outfits, while a crew from Get It On! plastered people with temporary tattoos "There are so many people we need to thank that helped make this event as special as it was including all of you who attended," the Bay Pride team says. "We can't wait until next year when we are bigger and better."
