Text:Where will you be when the clock strikes midnight? Here's your guide to hitting the bars and clubs this New Year's Eve. AUCKLAND Family bar presents their special New Year's Eve party CIRQUE DU SOGAY! Hosted by ringmasters Miss Ribena and Miss K from 8pm onwards, the countdown to midnight includes mystery guests at Midnight and even bearded ladies! DJ Starli, DJ Love and DJ James will keep the dance floor pumping until 6am when the party continues downstairs at Family Downunder well into New Years Day. Get there early – there will be queues outside as the night goes on. New Year's Eve is always URGE bar's biggest night of the year - they go off with a bang! DJ Mauri will be spinning the tunes for the packed-out dancefloor. There's no door charge, and surprises are guaranteed! Join the guys at 490 K' Rd. It's 2010 - A Gay Odyssey at K' Road's Naval 2010: A New Years Odyssey at Cassette Number Nine (9 Vulcan Lane) features a huge line-up - Cyril Orson, Andrew Tidball, Mtron Bomb Vs Amy Jean, Trakman, Aaron Pony, Futureman, Boomio Sound and Pauley Face; and Devo (17 Albest St) nightclub's NYE bash with DJ's Justin Sane, Sebastian Wild, Smash'd Bros, Kyle Bourke, Tania M and more. HAMILTON Head to Hamilton's Shine bar at 161 Victoria Street for their New Year's Eve party… it'll be out with the old and in with the new, with midnight specials, shows and treats galore. The doors are open from 9pm until 3am, with free entry. ROTORUA Rotorua's gay bar is Shampers at 1207 Eruera St. It's a welcoming place for the Bay of Plenty's LGBT community to come and relax. Tonight Shampers counts down to midnight and sees in 2010 with drinks and entertainment.
