Text:The NZAF's deputy director Anne Carson has announced her resignation after 13 years in the position. Executive Director Rachael LeMesurier says Carson has made an outstanding contribution to the HIV/AIDS campaign in New Zealand, comments which have been echoed by former NZAF Executive Director and colleague Warren Lindberg. “Anne came to the AIDS Foundation at a critical time in our response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic,” he says. “Her work was fundamental to the Foundation's continued professional growth and its reputation nationally and internationally as a respected and effective health promotion organisation.” Carson leaves on April 26 to join her partner in their coffee roasting business in Whangaroa in the Far North.
