Huge increase in BGO survey participants

Thu 12 Feb 2004 In: New Zealand Daily News

A huge increase in the number of Ansell Big Gay Out attendees participating in the NZ AIDS Foundation's major research project, the Gay Auckland Periodic Sex Survey, has pleased the Foundation. NZAF researcher Peter Saxton says the figure of 840 participants is almost half as many again as participated at the BGO last year . The survey continues until this Sunday at gay venues around Auckland with a small number of preliminary findings hoped to be available within a couple of months to guide the Foundation's HIV/AIDS strategies and a comprehensive report due out around October.
