Text:Gay men are to the modern woman what dogs were to the pioneer man - the ultimate companion, the perfect accessory, according to Sunday Star-Times writer, Megan Nicol Reed. What is it that attracts women to gay men, asks Reed, finding an answer from Express editor Mike Binis: “'s the chance to party with a more often than not well-groomed man without the risk of any unwanted sexual advances.” There is a certain synchronicity that exists between gay men and straight women, adds Reed, described by Mike Binis as a “continuum”: "All the way on the left you have blokes and as you come through the middle you have gay men and then straight women and all the way to the other end you have lesbians."
