Text:Annie Goldson and Peter Wells' acclaimed documentary about the life of Georgina Beyer, is to screen on American television next week. Georgie Girl will appear on the PBS network as part of an ongoing documentary series called P.O.V., which covers stories on people from all walks of life and a diverse range of topics. PBS publicity describes the doco as a "remarkable account of Beyer's precedent-setting accomplishment, revealing her intelligence, charisma and humor."
