Text:Straight viewers as well as gays and lesbians are welcome at Dunedin's Out Takes film festival, which will play at the Dundas St Academy cinema this weekend. Cinema co-owner Andrea Broad told the Otago Daily Times that the festival had been well received in other centres, and had previously attracted high numbers in Dunedin. The festival, which also plays in a condensed programme at the Hollywood Theatre in Christchurch this weekend, saw its highest box office attendance to date this year in Auckland and Wellington.
