Text:High profile Wellington gay couple Mal Vaughan and Scott Kennedy have won a ZMFM network contest to be married in Hawaii. Vaughn and Scott have for many years been involved in running Wellington gay bars and events. "We had an absolutely awesome time staying in a ritzy hotel, doing crazy stunts on the radio every morning while battling 5 other couples" in the promotion says Vaughan. The pair have been flown to Hawaii, "where we get taken shopping for all our wedding clothes... they even supply the rings!" The pair will stay for four days at Waikiki landmark hotel The Pink Palace to experience "married life, " and will be thenceforth be known as Malcolm and Scott Kennedy/Vaughan.
